i3 Innovative Technologies (i3) is founded in 2008. It focusses on supporting industries and RTD organizations with innovations in the field of process technology: especially membrane separation technology.
i3 stands for innovation by intelligence, inspiration and imagination. This displays the method of achieving its mission: Contribute to realizing breakthrough innovations in the field of Water and Energy.

Its strategy is twofold:
1. Creative support of innovation-oriented companies and RTD organizations in finding and implementing improved process technologies.
2. Inventing, developing and testing of own technological ideas and devices up to prototype level.
